Our client, a highly respected name renowned for their commitment to quality and service, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to cover the vital M4 corridor, from Swansea to London. This is a pivotal role, ensuring dental practices in the region benefit from the highest standards of equipment maintenance and compliance.

In this dynamic role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive on-site service, maintenance, and repair of a range of dental equipment, including autoclaves, decontamination units, compressors, and chairs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively, minimizing disruption for clients.
  • Carrying out routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
  • Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and building strong working relationships with dental practice staff.
  • Completing accurate and timely service reports.
  • Managing your own workload and schedule effectively to meet client needs across the designated territory.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and equipment technologies.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Proven experience as a field service engineer, ideally within the dental or medical equipment sector, with specific knowledge of autoclaves and decontamination processes.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential as the role involves significant travel across the M4 corridor.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) would be highly advantageous.
