Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service within a dynamic accountancy practice? We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional and proactive Bookkeeper to join a thriving firm in Swindon.
The Role:As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their bookkeeping and VAT requirements are met with precision and care. You will play an essential role in client onboarding and ongoing relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for your clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Efficient and accurate bookkeeping for a varied client base

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Assisting with client onboarding, including system setup and data migration

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional service

Supporting clients with software queries (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)

Working closely with the wider accounts team to ensure seamless service delivery
About You:

Solid bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice

Strong working knowledge of VAT rules and regulations

Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills

Proficient in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

Highly organised, with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
