Delivery Driver / Porter – Leading High Street Retailer

Are you a reliable and physically fit individual looking for a dynamic delivery role with a renowned high street brand? We are seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers / Porters to join our team and provide excellent customer service.

What you'll do:

Complete a theory test, followed by a full driving assessment if successful, and then attend a comprehensive induction (next available day).
Start your day at 06:00, with routes typically planned for an 11:00 hour delivery day.
Make between 15 to 20 drops daily, handling items up to 79kgs, including white goods and home furnishings. Deliveries will be to the customer’s room of choice, with an unpacking option available.
This role is physically demanding but operates as a 2-man crew, with lifting aids supplied.
Tranship items from the back of the delivery van onto the vehicle in the correct order, with assistance from the driver and porter.
If all drops are not delivered on the first trip, the crew will return to the depot to collect remaining items and complete the delivery.
Occasionally, the van crew may be asked to assist the 7.5T delivery team during breakdowns or heavy traffic conditions.
As this role is customer-facing, politeness and professionalism are essential. A one-hour pre-call will be made to inform customers of their delivery time.
Requirements:

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
Punctual and reliable
Customer-focused attitude
Full UK driving license
Join us and be part of a trusted high street retailer committed to excellent service and quality deliveries.

Attendance Bonus available.
