Are you a Site Engineer with Water /Utilities experience?
Our client a leading utilities contractor are currently looking to recruit a Site Engineer with experience of major civils works, such as earth works ,setting out, shaft sinking, large diameter gravity pipelines, rising mains, tunnelling and surveying for a new pumping station installation projects.
Long term contract work, with a potential for permanent options. Â
As Site Engineer you will be part the delivery team and will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely engineering data to support design, construction and handover of infrastructure projects. Â
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work meets the required quality standards and complies with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee daily operations on sites, including the coordination of materials, setting out etc.
- Address and resolve any issues on site , such design changes.
- Complete site engineer diaries.
- Track and document project progress, including work completed
- Produces As- built drawings and sketches.Â
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status, including progress, challenges.
- Complete a SHE6 audit.
- Record Site safety observations

- Water Mains experience
- Quality plans and monitoring
- ACD's
- General supervision
- Test and inspection plans
- CAD
Qualifications
Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent qualified in engineering
