CMD Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a leading provider of complete end-to-end technical solutions and services across the UK.

We are looking for an individual with strong commercial drive and a technical aptitude to join their established sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a professional sales role supported by a technical framework, with a genuine interest in delivering top-class solutions and service.

The Role & Responsibilities:

This position is a blend of sales, key account management, and new business development. The core focus is on ensuring continued business growth by managing client relationships and driving new solutions sales.

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers to increase sales, and negotiating all agreement terms, including price, delivery, and specifications.
  • Researching, identifying, planning approaches, and visiting potential new customers to grow the sales pipeline.
  • Applying technical product knowledge to match specific customer requirements. This includes working with the engineering team and conducting site visits to clarify specifications.
  • Managing the full project cycle, including accurate cost calculations, providing quotations/proposals.


Your Skills & Experience:

  • A confident, determined approach, with the ability to forward think and strategically plan your workload.
  • The capacity to successfully manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to build professional rapport with customers in person and over the phone.

No prior product or industry experience is required, as full training will be provided. Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
