Our client, based in Swindon, is currently recruiting for a Project Worker on a permanent contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and offering a salary of £25,119 per annum plus benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults that complex needs such as Substance Misuse, Homelessness or Mental Health and hold an enhanced DBS or happy to have a new one taken out.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Be responsible for the delivery of an effective, high-quality, person-centred support service to service users with a background of homelessness and a range of low to medium needs
  • Provide support to service users and promote their engagement through the development of positive relationships and providing support to move towards independence
  • Take a positive, trauma-informed approach to working with service users with complex needs
  • and challenging behaviour
  • Take a pro-active approach to multi-agency working e.g., the police, social services and other
  • statutory and voluntary agencies
  • Carry out inspections of properties to ensure that they are maintained to a good standard
  • Take appropriate action to deal with breaches of licence agreements or support contracts

 

Experience required:

  • Ideally you will have experience within a support and care background but if you have a can do attitude our client would consider CVs from an alternative background

 

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, Daytime shifts only
