???? SEMH Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor?? Location: Swindon?? Start Date: ASAP?? Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm?? Long-term role with the potential for a permanent contract!
?? About the Role:Join a lovely and welcoming SEMH setting supporting young people aged 8-16 with a range of needs including:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
Challenging Behaviours
You'll work closely with the classroom teacher to provide consistent, compassionate, and individualised support to help every student reach their full potential ļæ½?
?? What You'll Be Doing:?? Supporting children with ASD, SEMH, and behaviour needs
?? Assisting in planning and delivering engaging lessons
ļæ½? Creating fun, interactive activities to boost engagement
?? Helping pupils build confidence and positive relationships
?? Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment
? What We're Looking For:Experience supporting children/young adults with additional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive, empathetic, and resilient attitude
Commitment to consistent and high-quality support
Willingness to adapt and be proactive in a dynamic setting
