Are you a skilled and qualified Electrician with Solar PV experience? Do you want to work with a forward-thinking company that's driving sustainable energy solutions across domestic and commercial projects?

Our client, a leader in the renewable energy and housing sector, is on the lookout for a qualified Electrician to join their growing team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical and Solar PV installations, improving lives and making homes more energy-efficient.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Install, test, and commission Solar PV systems (domestic and/or commercial)
  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs, and replacements of electrical fittings
  • Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with UK building regulations
  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Accurately record work using tablets and complete job documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service, leaving homes safe, clean, and tidy
  • Travel to various sites across the region (or nationally where required)

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Electrician (apprenticeship or full electrical qualifications)
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 - Inspection & Testing
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (IET)
  • Solar PV Qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2399, LCL Awards, or BPEC)
  • ECS Gold Card
  • MCS Accreditation experience (Microgeneration Certification Scheme)
  • Understanding of G98/G99 grid connection regulations
  • Experience using remote monitoring tools and inverter apps
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and RAMS

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous work in social housing or domestic retrofit projects
  • Familiarity with PAS 2030 standards
  • Good knowledge of local geography (desirable)

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
