I am exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing UK business. This newly created role offers a great mix of team leadership, hands-on operational finance, and real scope to drive process improvements. You’ll be working closely with a supportive, tenured motivated Financial Controller who supports career development.
About the Job:
- Leading a small, friendly, tenured transactional finance team
- Supporting the team with coaching and complex queries
- Reviewing and improving AP/AR processes
- Approving invoices, expenses, and card claims
- Month-end duties: accruals, prepayments, journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting support
- Supporting budgeting and ad hoc projects
- Liaising with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and auditors
Benefits:
- £40,000 to £45,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays

- 35-hour week (Mon-Fri, 9-5)

About You:
- Experience leading or supervising a finance team
- Strong AP, AR, and general ledger knowledge
- Collaborative, hands-on approach with a people-first mindset
- SME experience is a plus
