CLASS 1 TRUNKING DRIVER

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES - 4:00PM - 6:00PM

PAY RATE: £19.00 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from different locations
• Perform Swap and Drop to various depots
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Trunker Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in Trunking positions experience will be beneficial

Training

• On the job training.
