As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading classrooms during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment. This role is ideal for those considering a career in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
Manage student behaviour and keep learning on track
Provide basic support and guidance to students
Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity
The Ideal Cover Supervisor Will Have:
Experience working with young people (e.g. in education, coaching, or youth work)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A flexible, professional attitude
