Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee repairs and adaptations for empty properties.

  • Ensure quick and quality repairs for re-letting homes.

  • Manage budget and control costs.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain high tenant satisfaction and reduce empty home impact.

  • Conduct property surveys and update records.

  • Adapt services to tenant needs.

  • Keep policies and procedures current.

  • Track vacant properties for quick re-letting.

  • Handle surveys, inspections, and safety assessments.

  • Conduct and analyze tenant satisfaction surveys.

  • Update Welcome Pack for new tenants.

  • Prepare estimates and negotiate contracts.

  • Address complaints and inquiries.

  • Contribute to strategy and policy development.

  • Attend meetings and provide technical advice.

  • Manage fleet issues.

  • Recruit and develop staff.

  • Promote equality and diversity.

Person Specifications
Must Have:

  • 2 years of staff management experience.

  • Experience in budget management.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Understanding of planning and building regulations.

  • Commitment to partnership and user engagement.

  • HNC in Construction or relevant experience.

  • Full driving license.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in contract management.

  • Experience in policy development.

  • Experience with IT management and testing.
