A high-performing and progressive secondary school in Swindon is currently seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join its innovative DT department from September. The department is well-equipped with CAD software, workshop machinery, and dedicated spaces for electronics, textiles, and resistant materials. You will be joining a highly experienced team that works collaboratively to ensure students gain real-world skills and a thorough understanding of design processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more areas of DT and be confident teaching KS3 and KS4. Experience with GCSE DT and/or Engineering is an advantage. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for assessments, and contributing to extracurricular and STEM-related activities.
Applicants must hold QTS, possess strong subject knowledge, and be passionate about hands-on learning and technological innovation. A valid enhanced DBS is required.
