Interior Designer, middleweight or senior, commercial design

We are looking for an experienced commercial interior designer who is happy to work partially/hybrid in the Swindon office and, of course, to travel to projects and clients regularly too.

You’re a creative thinker who understands how to take a commercial design project from first idea to final delivery. You’ll have technical know-how and commercial awareness at every step and will have experience of working on office/retail fit-outs.

Whether you’re a middleweight designer ready for more responsibility or already managing your streams of work, this is a chance to build on your experience and grow your voice within a team that values clarity, collaboration, and good design.

Depending on the level at which you join, you’ll help contribute or lead on the design and delivery of commercial projects to help create beautiful workspaces.

About you:

Around 3+ years in commercial workplace design and fit-out; you know your way around a floor plan

Sharp eye for space planning, with visuals that tell a clear story

Solid grasp of UK regulations and how to apply them without slowing things down

Comfortable in AutoCAD and Adobe CC, SketchUp or Revit, would be nice to have!

About you:

You’ll be comfortable translating briefs into thoughtful spatial ideas that work, both creatively and commercially.

You’ll know how to tell a visual story, building decks, boards and presentations that connect.

You’ll love the detail, including coordinating drawings and design packs that are accurate, buildable and clear.

You will love and enjoy working with clients, suppliers, consultants and your team, including keeping the conversation going from first sketch to final snag.

For you to know:

In addition to a generous salary based on your experience and contributions to the team and business, youwill enjoy excellent benefits and a supportive, creative culture. Overall, it's a superb business with a long history and a solid future.
