The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, providing expert planning advice, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will be working closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment while also taking ownership of your own caseload.
You will be leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outputs, while mentoring and supporting more junior team members. This is a role that combines autonomy with collaboration, giving you the chance to grow professionally and influence the direction of key schemes.
Skills and Experience
You will bring:
·MRTPI qualification (or working towards it).
·Strong experience in development management, planning policy, or private sector planning.
·Proven ability to manage projects independently and provide expert advice.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
·A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for planning.
