We're looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join a busy and growing delivery team, working on major capital programmes designed to future-proof water systems and protect the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Promote and lead a zero-harm safety culture across all site activities.
- Manage and supervise Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractor teams on site.
- Oversee the organisation of labour, plant, and materials.
- Prepare and manage key project documentation including RAMS, method statements, briefings, and permits.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and high-quality project standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Support the delivery of Project Management Plans across environment, quality, safety, health, and wellbeing.
- Carry out site safety audits and inspections to promote continuous improvement.
About You:
- Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar.
- Previous experience in water or wastewater infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Hold a SMSTS certificate.
- Thames Water Passport and knowledge of Temporary Works requirements (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong experience in cost control, commercial awareness, and value management.
- Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH (preferred but not essential).
- Confident managing both direct labour and subcontractor teams.
