Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Associate
Location:Bristol, Bath or Swindon South West
Salary:Up to £65,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement:Hybrid (Office & Home Working)

About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Associate to join a leading Commercial Dispute Resolution team in the South West. This role sits within a collaborative and inclusive firm with a strong client base including corporates, SMEs and family-run businesses. You will be part of a friendly and high-performing team, with the flexibility to work from either the Bristol, Bath or Swindon office, as well as from home.

You will be responsible for handling a broad caseload of dispute resolution matters, including:

  • Commercial and contractual disputes between businesses

  • Professional negligence claims

  • Mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

  • Supporting the team with business development and client relationship management

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commercial litigation, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team. You will be comfortable managing your own files and supporting more junior members of the team where needed.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial dispute resolution

  • Demonstrate excellent client service and communication skills

  • Be well-organised and capable of managing deadlines effectively

  • Have experience in business development or a willingness to develop this skillset

  • Enjoy working within a collaborative environment across multiple offices
