Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Mould Setter Operator to join one of our prestigious clients in SN3 area.
3 on 3 off shifts 10:00-22:00
Salary: 34700 plus shift allowance 24%

Main purpose of this role is working as a member of the production team reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Manager, responsible for set-up and efficient running of moulds, moulding machines and ancillary equipment to meet the quality standards and production targets, as well as supporting the introduction of new or modified processes.

Main Duties:
  • Perform safe handling and loading / unloading of mould tools onto the moulding machines, and set-up of ancillary equipment associated with running the moulds.
  • Support process trials and validation on new or modified mould processes.
  • Fully document trials, validations, process conditions when involved and work in accordance with internal procedures and GMP
  • To carry out basic maintenance duties on moulds, moulding machines and ancillary equipment as specified within the Planned Maintenance guidelines.
  • Undertake process projects as requested by Shift Manager
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures and Work Instructions
