Fly Tipping Rapid Response Operative

Fly tipping rapid response operative required to work on a 1-year contract with a public sector organisation. The successful applicant will join the responsive maintenance team focused on keeping public spaces clean and safe.

Contract type: Agency for 1 year

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Based in Swindon

Pay rate: 14.10

Main duties - Respond swiftly to reports of fly tipping and illegal waste dumping. Collect and dispose of waste in line with environmental guidelines. Carry out related duties to support cleanliness and safety of public spaces. Complete necessary reports and documents.

What skills and experience we are looking for:

• Experience in waste management, street cleansing or environmental services
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Flexible and reliable
• Good communication skills
• Work unsupervised and use initiative
