About the Role:
Academics Ltd is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Swindon from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate History Teacher to inspire students and share their love of history in an engaging and supportive environment. As a History Teacher, you will have the chance to shape young minds, delivering dynamic lessons that bring the past to life and encourage a lifelong interest in historical inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a History Teacher, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
Assess student progress, giving constructive feedback to help each learner reach their full potential.
Collaborate with fellow History Teachers and wider staff to continually develop and refine teaching practices.
Be a positive role model, promoting a genuine enthusiasm for history and creating a lasting impact as a committed History Teacher
Requirements:
A degree in History or a closely related subject
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching history at the secondary level
A genuine passion for history and a commitment to inspiring young learners
Strong classroom management and communication skills
