Responsibilities
The role involves providing early assistance to vulnerable children, young people, and their families to prevent the need for statutory social care services. Key responsibilities include:
  • Writing holistic family assessments and developing personalized plans in collaboration with families.
  • Coordinating targeted support and regularly reviewing plans with families and partner agencies through Team around the Child meetings.
  • Contributing to the development of Community, Family, Youth Hubs as part of Swindon Communities Together.
  • Working collaboratively with other flexible and motivated individuals to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Person Specification
Candidates should be enthusiastic about helping vulnerable families achieve life-changing outcomes. Essential skills and attributes include:
  • Strong ability to write comprehensive family assessments.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating personalized support plans.
