Mental Health Support worker - Swindon

An exciting opportunity has just opened up in a wonderful specialist school we are currently working with. This school is looking for a reliable Mental Health Support Worker to join their friendly and inclusive team ASAP on a full-time basis. The staff here are dedicated to ensuring their students develop into confident and capable individuals.

The students here are aged between 111 and 16 and struggle with various Mental Health issues, so not only would a Mental Health Support worker have a profound positive impact, but would also find the role incredibly meaningful and rewarding.

Key information for a Mental Health Support Worker:

  • ASAP start
  • 85-100 a day (depending on experience)
  • Based in Swindon
  • Full-time (08:30-15:00 term time only)

Responsibilities of a Mental Health Support Worker:

  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Support and encourage emotional awareness
  • Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with educational staff
  • Work with students on a 1 to 1 or group basis
  • Working in a team of like-minded individuals to facilitate the emotional development of students
