Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to learners with additional learning needs

  • Differentiating learning materials to ensure accessibility for all students

  • Working collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants and wider SEN teams

  • Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to learners

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable learners

  • Full-time and part-time positions available

  • Term-time only contracts are also available



Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)

  • Level 2 qualification or higher in English and Maths

  • Experience teaching or supporting learners with SEND within an FE or specialist setting

  • Strong knowledge of additional learning needs and inclusive teaching strategies

  • Up to date Safeguarding training, or willingness to obtain

  • Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain
