The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

Location: Syston - Leicester

Industry: Manufacturing - Heavy Engineering/Production environment.

Pay: 20.04 per hour working Monday to Friday days. The other engineers work a 4on 4off day shift patter 6am to 6pm and therefore should you cover a shift for sickness or holidays you would achieve 25.06 per hour. (earnings of 46000 and upwards expected with some shift cover)

Call out: Call out roster - receiving 20 per call out and a min of 4hrs paid at OT rates for each call out. - discuss further at interview stage.

Overtime: 1.5 Mon-Fri and double on Sundays

Holidays: 29 days holiday including bank holidays

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role:

* To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

* Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

* PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprenticeship
Strong Maintenance background working in a medium to heavy engineering environment beneficial
Any fabrication experience beneficial
Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
