- The position of Paint/Blaster Supervisor is based at Hinkley Point in Bridgewater and reports to the Senior Manager.
- Candidates should have experience in Painting Supervision, Blasting, QA Inspection, and technical inspection/supervisory skills, ideally in marine and offshore new build and refurbishment projects.
- The role involves supervising the inspection workforce and ensuring compliance with company policies and client specifications, while collaborating with various teams including inspectors and coating manufacturers.
- Professional approval certificates from recognized organizations such as NACE, ICORR, and TWI are preferred for applicants.
- The position offers an excellent salary package and career prospects, with a requirement of at least 5 years of relevant experience and a willingness to complete a one-week training course in Europe before starting the project.
Key Areas of ResponsibilityExperience within Painting Supervision / Blasting, QA Inspection along with technical inspection / supervisory skills. Experience ideally of marine & offshore new build and refurbishment projects.
Working as part of the management supervision team. Supervising inspection workforce, ensuring that the execution of company policy and client / owners agreed specification, relevant standards, and codes of practice are adhered to. Working in close liaison with company’s site team Inspectors, yard production/QA dept, class surveyors, Coating manufacture’s inspection team and other professional authorities.
Professional approval certificates as a Supervisor ideally accredited by national and International organisations;
NACE, ICORR, ERS, BGC / TWI.Excellent package and career prospects – willing to consider permanent positions or freelance (or temp to perm).
Must be willing to do 1 week training course in Europe before project starts
