Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a fully integrated solution provider that delivers a wide spectrum of services across project lifecycles to the nuclear and defence sectors to recruit a Construction Engineer for a major nuclear client site near the Greater Reading area.
The Construction Engineer role comes with an hourly rate of 42.75 per hour and will be working under CIS conditions.
Key skills required for the Construction Engineer role
- Experience working in the construction sector
- Construction or Electrical related qualification CSCS - Construction safety certificate (entry level)
- ECS Gold Card
- 18TH edition
- Experience in construction related work (installation, fitting out, commissioning, maintenance, repair, decommissioning, removal)
Candidates will need to have 2 years' experience working in the nuclear sector over the past 5 years.
Candidates are required to hold active SC clearance at point of application and will be required to undergo DV vetting.
Location, day rate and timeframe of the Construction Engineer role
- An hourly rate of 42.75.
- Working pattern of 11 days on, and 3 days off - 12-hour shifts
- CIS Working structure
- Must be happy to work on site full time.
- Working full time from a major client site based near the Greater Reading area.
