Job Title: Electrician - Contract (12 Months)

Location- Tadley, near Reading

Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Electricians to support a 12-month M&E fit-out project on a series of modern office blocks.

This is a contract-based position, ideal for reliable and professional tradespeople. Work will be site-based, and due to limited public transport in the area, driving is essential.

Start Date: Subject to successful clearance and induction

Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of electrical installation and fit-out work on-site
Work collaboratively with other M&E professionals and contractors
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and project specifications
Complete installation and commissioning of electrical systems
Follow site instructions and adhere to project deadlines

Essential Requirements:

ECS Gold Card (Electrician level)
IPAF & PASMA certifications
Own hand tools (including drills, drivers, etc.)
DBS check (to be completed before start)
Eligibility for BPSS clearance (Baseline Personnel Security Standard)
Safety Critical Medical & Drug & Alcohol test (must be passed prior to site entry)
Ability to drive to site (no public transport available nearby)
Must pass a Trade Test as part of site induction

Preferred Attributes:

Previous experience on large commercial or M&E fit-out projects
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
