Our client in the Tamworth area is seeking a Bookkeeper/Management Accountant for a permanent position.
The role involves responsibilities such as completing VAT returns, managing client portfolios, and preparing financial statements.
Candidates should have excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, and must be able to manage their own workload effectively.
The salary for this position ranges from £28,000 to £32,000, depending on experience, and relevant experience is required.
Driving is essential due to the company's rural location, and both part-time and full-time hours are considered.

Our client based in the Tamworth area are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Complete VAT returns
Managing a portfolio of clients
Day to day bookkeeping
Dealing with any enquiries from clients via phone and email
Prepare financial statements
Work closely with clients and ensure they are supported throughout
Occasional client visits
Management accounts

The successful candidate will:

Be confident and reliable
Be able to meet deadlines and manage their own workload
Must have excellent IT skills including Excel
Having experience in completing tax returns and statutory accounts is beneficial but not essential
AAT level 4 and practice experience would also be advantageous

Can consider both part time and full-time hours.

Salary is £28,000 - £32,000 , dependent on experience.

This company is located in a rural part of Tamworth, so being able to drive is essential.
