A family run company are looking to hire into their finance team. As the new Accounts Assistant, you will be communicative and motivated, but most importantly happy to get stuck in to all things finance.

This is a great opportunity to work in a lovely team, and truly demonstrate your practical skills. From invoices processing to assisting with cashflows, you will work to the highest standard, ensuring all documents at cared for with great attention to detail. Additionally, you will assist with accruals, prepayments and fixed assets, as well as managing the company's overdue debt.

Honestly, a little bit of everything with this position! You will have the space to grow and become integrated into the team.

Skills required

  • Experience within a similar role, is beneficial. Allowing you to come in a hit the ground running.
  • Knowledge of Excel and practical experience using XERO is desirable.
  • Have great organisational skills. Within this role you will not be micromanaged, so you plan your own diary.
  • Have great communication skills, in order to communicate not only with internal stakeholder but external too
  • The passion and pride to complete work to the highest standard and minimising errors/discrepancies.
