Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Tamworth based global organisation who are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their busy Tamworth based site.

Duties and tasks will include:

Quality System Development

* Develop and update Quality Management Systems (QMS)

* Maintain and improve documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

* Ensure systems reflect operational best practices and industry standards Auditing & Inspections

* Plan and conduct product inspections, process audits, and compliance tests

* Ensure adherence to technical standards, customer requirements, and regulations Problem Solving & CAPA

* Investigate product complaints and non-conformance issues

* Perform root-cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Data Analysis & Reporting

* Use statistical methods to analyse quality data and performance trends

* Generate reports and recommendations for improvement based on insights Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work with teams in production, engineering, and supply chain

* Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders to maintain quality standards

* Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing across departments

* Equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing quality role will also be considered

* Strong manufacturing background, ideally in a fast-paced production environment

* Experience with ISO 9001 is essential

* Proficient in QMS and quality documentation

* Skilled in statistical analysis and quality metrics tracking

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities

* High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently
