Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Manager to lead commercial operations for high-value programmes within the water, environmental, defence, and nuclear sectors. In this role, you will manage procurement, contracts, and project delivery, ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and performance across multi-work stream programmes. You'll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to drive smart, resilient infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement strategy, contract execution, and post-contract delivery
Identify and mitigate commercial risks while ensuring financial clarity
Manage cost planning, change control, and final account negotiation
Oversee supplier performance and foster strong supply chain relationships
Ensure compliance with NEC3/4, FIDIC, UK law, and regulatory frameworks
Support work-winning teams and guide junior team members
What You Bring:
Strong financial modelling and commercial problem-solving skills
Experience in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors
Expertise in NEC3/4 contracts and risk management
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Willingness to work on-site at least 3 days/week
Right to work in the UK
