Our client, a leading & expanding manufacturing organisation, established for over 30 years in Tamworth are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and detail-focused Project Manager to join their fast-paced Project Management Office. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and be able to demonstrate end to end project delivery across diverse boundaries.   You will be reporting directly to the Group Project Manager, you will support and manage project activities to help drive major initiatives like ERP/WMS implementation, while also contributing to critical internal projects designed to enhance day to day operations.   Your salary will be up to £50,000 depending on experience.  Benefits include 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays, Paycare - A Healthcare Cash Plan (Discounts available and access to a 24-hour Doctor), Access to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and up to 5 days extra unpaid holiday available at a salary sacrifice. Hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday – please note this is an office based position.        Working as the Project Manager, you will:
  • Collaborate with the Group Project Manager to meticulously plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor project progress and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Prepare thorough project documentation, including comprehensive scope documents, compelling business cases, detailed project plans, insightful status reports, and accurate meeting minutes
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to foster alignment and drive project success
  • Track project expenses and resources meticulously, maintaining accurate records and producing insightful reports to inform decision-making
  • Champion effective risk management and issue resolution strategies, promptly escalating and resolving any challenges to minimize project disruptions and maintain momentum
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices by actively supporting the implementation of best practices and process enhancements
  • Project Manager can demonstrate versatile skills to effectively manage multiple projects across diverse boundaries
  As the Project Manager, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a project management role, experienced in dealing with a variety of projects at any given time including IT
  • PRINCE2 certified or equivalent project management qualification
  • Proven ability to manage tasks independently and juggle multiple priorities with a high level of organisation
  • Experience in creating detailed project documentation (project plans, business cases, reports etc)
  • Strong communicator – both written and verbal – with a professional, client-facing approach
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools
  • Holds a full UK Driving Licence and is open to travel across multiple sites when required
  • A basic understanding of data security and privacy principles
  • You may experience working within any of the following: Project Manager, IT Project Manager, PMO Manager, Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, Head of Projects, or any other similar position where you have managed various projects from start to finish
