We are currently recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team within the rail infrastructure industry.

This is a key role that provides assurance, guidance, and support in the safe operation of our worksites, ensuring full compliance with all health and safety regulations and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site health and safety support and guidance

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure safe working practices

  • Assist with incident investigations and drive continuous improvement

  • Deliver training and educational tools to staff

  • Engage and influence Site Managers and teams to promote a positive safety culture

  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • PTS certified (Personal Track Safety)

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or higher, e.g., NEBOSH Diploma)

  • Proven experience in a similar H&S advisory role within construction or infrastructure

  • Strong working knowledge of the rail industry and infrastructure projects

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels

  • Excellent IT skills, including health & safety reporting systems

  • High attention to detail and commitment to best practices

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
