Your primary focus will be regulated mortgage contracts, but you will also need to be experienced in identifying and dealing with specialist finance opportunities, including buy-to-key, commercial and bridging.

Duties:

Conduct an extensive fact-find appointment with clients to discuss and gain a thorough understanding of their mortgage needs and financial position.

Effectively evaluate clients' financial information to determine their eligibility for mortgage products.

Provide professional, high quality advice and a recommend suitable a mortgage product(s) that meet their needs

Rationalise and document product choice and reasons for recommendation.

Collaborate with third party lenders and internal Case Managers to ensure timely and accurate processing of mortgage applications.

Liaise with internal Quality Assurance staff to ensure compliance and continual development.

Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in mortgage products and services.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders and other industry professionals.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial services, particularly in the mortgage and specialist finance industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

Ability to analyse financial information and carry out any required mathematical calculations.

Problem solving and the ability to assess and identify products for clients across different lender propositions from a broad panel.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Proficient in using mortgage software and technology tools for application processing.

Requirements:

2+ years in mortgage advising, skilled in various loan types.

CeMap or equivalent qualification.

Proven success in lead conversion and client advising.
