Electro/Mechanical Technician

Location: Tamworth

Salary: Up to 34,257.00 per annum dependant on ability

Shift: Days: (Apply online only) Monday to Thursday - (Apply online only) Friday

The Company:

A leading company specialises in the design and production of advanced environmental test equipment used to simulate and evaluate the effects of corrosion on materials and products.

Role & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include the accurate assembly and build of machinery to engineering specifications and quality standards. The role requires following technical drawings and instructions to ensure all components are correctly fitted and fully functional.

The Candidate:

Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical assembly, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.

Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically to complete complex assemblies.

Confident in the use of a wide range of hand tools and basic power tools for assembly tasks.

Able to accurately read and interpret schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency in build and assembly work.
