Contek are currently working with a state of the art manufacturing facility based in Kingsbury, whospecialisein the CNC precision milling of large engineering & industrial components. They work extensively with the aerospace, marine, defence, power generation, rail and satellite communication sectors from theirfacilitiy in the West Midlands.
Due to company growth, they are looking for a Production Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM until 06:00 PM) - Every other Friday off work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helping out around the workshop, assisting machinists with anything that they need.
- Emptying swarf containers around the workshop.
- Keeping the workshop in a clean and tidy state.
- Possibly making a few deliveries if required.
- Some basic assembly work (full training given).
- Some inspection work (full training given).
- Setting up some machines (full training given).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Previous experience working with metal parts is preferred.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- Clean criminal record is required (DBS check will be carried out due to the type of projects that the company works on).
