Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with an early finish on Friday! 

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Role Overview: Are you ready to take charge and make a real impact? We are on the lookout for a dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager to join our vibrant team in Tamworth. This is your chance to step into a role with significant responsibility and the freedom to shape it as your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trial Balance Preparation: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of trial balances, reconciling all accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a big plus

Qualifications:

  • AAT Level qualification or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified/studying
