We have a fantastic opportunity for a HSE Coordinatorto join our Operations Team on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00pm, at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Tamworth.

This is an exciting prospect for an individual looking to gain a wealth of experience and progress within a well-established Operations team, supporting and coordinating all things Health and Safety, with the desire to undertake a NEBOSH certification qualification.

How you will make the difference:

Promoting a positive culture and high standard approach towards health, safety, environment and sustainability. Ensuring all health and safety best practices, policies and procedures are followed to mitigate risk across the business. Ensuring the businessoperates within and adheres to all relevant legislation and all applicable compliance procedures.Providing accurate guidance to the company on all Health and Safety related matters.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supporting Health and Safety, Environment strategies and processesto meet business objectives, and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively
  • Supporting to establish long term Health and Safety initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement

  • Working alongside management on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures

  • Supporting ISO 45001 audit program

  • Promote awareness and understanding of HSE practices through the health and safety committee, ongoing education and communications

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs, recommending improvements when necessary

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning through to execution.

Essential Skills:

  • Resilient personality with the ability to drive Health & Safety through cross functional teams

  • Understanding of ISO 9001 & adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001

  • Excellent communication with proven ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations
