Overview:

Our client are looking for a confident Repair Coordinator to join their established team based at their Tamworth office and support the business with quality control of its products and processes.

Key Responsibilities as a Quality Control Assistant:

Conduct daily in-process quality control inspections of products

Apply best practice standards in all areas HS&E, quality procedures, standard operating procedures and safe system of work

Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment

Check that required standards and regulations are being met

Maintain accuracy of QC data and records

Identify gaps in quality control

Document and report sampling conditions testing activities and results

Adhere to company policies, safety, and environmental standards and good housekeeping.

Use quality assurance equipment and software to analyse and improve standards

Essential Requirements as a Quality Control Assistant:

The ability to analyse quality or performance

to be thorough and pay attention to detail

the ability to work well with others

excellent verbal communication skills

patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

to be able to use a computer and the main software packages confidently
