We are currently recruiting for a Stores Shift Leader for a large prestigious manufacturing & Logistics company based in Tamworth.

This is a Permanent role working rotating shifts – Mon – Friday

06.00am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm – 10.15pm (Early finish on Fridays )

Pay rate £13.50ph +Shift Allowance (£16.20ph )

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Warehouse and logistics team, through coaching and mentoring
  • Day to day Management of a small warehouse and stores team
  • Set and organise daily targets to meet production demands of a fast-paced environment.
  • Offer solutions to achieve a continuous improvement approach to drive business and customer service to the highest standards
  • Ensuring that deliveries are processed accurately & delivered to the correct point of contact
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to all Health & Safety rules and Company procedures
  • Ensure that housekeeping in all areas are kept to a high standard
  • Working closely with the Warehouse and Logistics Manager to assist and provide support with duties for the warehouse orders and stock movement throughout the facility.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 2 years experience leading or managing a team
  • Have proven ability to act and behave calmly whilst working under pressure
  • Have experience in setting targets and motivating a team to achieve them
  • Be fully experienced in building a structured an organised team
  • Be able to show leadership skills and role out in house training
  • Have a proven track record in coaching and inspiring great performance
  • You will need to be IT literate with a good understanding of Excel, and MRP / ERP systems.
  • A well organised and supportive individual, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • You must have Strong interpersonal skills.
