Maintenance Engineer
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £45,000 – £46,000 + Overtime (OTE £48K+)
Shifts: Monday – Friday (Days, 7am–4pm, Fri 7am–12pm)
Holidays: 33 Days

The Company

A leading global manufacturer of high-quality components is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for its Tamworth site. Supplying into various industries and prestige OEMs, the business continues to expand, with new facilities and investment in cutting-edge equipment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of CNC machinery, supporting both day-to-day operations and site projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CNC machines (Fanuc, Siemens, Doosan, DMG, XYZ).
  • Diagnose and repair faults on control systems, panels, and automation.
  • Mechanical work on ballscrews, tool changers, bearings, sprockets, and conveyors.
  • Support projects including CNC relocations into a new facility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

About You

  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification (or equivalent apprenticeship).
  • Experience maintaining CNC machinery in onsite or service roles.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work with Fanuc control systems.
  • Flexible, proactive, and a team player.
