Role: Mentainence Engineer
Location: Tamworth
Hours: 42 hours per week (day shift)
Pay: 40,000 - 48,000
Role Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment, responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Carry out preventive maintenance, installations, and safety-compliant repairs in line with schedules and company standards.
Record all maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS system and support continuous improvement through high-quality workmanship.
Manage spare parts inventory, maintain a safe and organised workshop, and uphold all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Essential Experience:
Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role
Competency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with planned preventive maintenance processes
Ability to use and update CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems
Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
Flexible to respond to out-of-hours issues when required
