They are recruiting for a dynamic Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer, who can carry out a wide range of tasks, and with experience working on both domestic and process water systems. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer within a Water / Legionella company
- Excellent understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 compliance standards
- Will have experience working across a mixed portfolio of client sites, including: commercial, local authority, public sector and domestic
- Good written ability
- It would be beneficial to hold experience leading on projects, but this is not essential
- Comfortable using IT software
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Travelling across client sites to undertake ACOP L8 compliance duties
- Showerhead descales
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Acid descales
- TMV servicing and repairs
- Calorifier inspections
- Cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Sampling from closed systems
- Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
- Updating logbooks and keeping accurate records of works completed
- Great further training opportunities
