Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Tamworth - Hybrid

40,000 - 45,000 + Autonomy + Pension + Holiday + Training

Are you a Geotechnical Engineer, with experience of contamination, looking to take the next step in your career? This client has a great opportunity as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, working on a wide range of varied projects.

This company are a leading environmental consultancy providing expertise across a range of environmental projects. They cover a range of sectors from water assessment, planning, contaminated land and mineral development. Having been established for 40 years they have established themselves as experts in the field and are looking to bring on an additional Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

In this role you will work on and project manage a wide range of geotechnical projects throughout the UK. You will be required to work from the office and trave to project sites, but will also have the option to work from home a couple of days a week. The site visits will include quality assurance, supervising earthworks, site investigations and surveying. When office based you will work on producing technical reports, preparing specifications, data collation and review.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit team working on prestigious projects across the UK.

The Role:

  • Mix of office, home and site based

  • Quality assurance, earthworks, site investigations, surveying, producing technical reports and specifications


The Person:

  • Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering
  • Familiar with mineral development and contamination
  • Full UK Driving License.
