Job description
We are recruiting for 1 x Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Drivers on behalf of our client in Tamworth to work at a leading manufacturer producing G.R.P (Glass Reinforced Plastic) building products.
The company are a well established company in Tamworth & have been operating for over 40 years.
Hours are 4.30pm - 3am Monday - Thursday (4 DAY WEEK) 1 in 4 Fridays worked 4.30PM - 1AM
This role will be varied involving manual handling as part of a team as well as FLT work. You will be on the FLT around 35% of your shift.
APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE DUE TO NEEDING TO DRIVE FLATBED VAN BETWEEN SITES
Your role will include the following:
- Loading & unloading lorries
- Shunting stock around the yard and sites
- Allocating stock to designated areas
- Working as part of a team
- Manually lifting items
- Moving stock around using the work van so Clean driving licence essential
Experience in the following is essential:
- FLT CB Licences must be in date and an accredited licence
- Experience working on a FLT in a similar environment
- Manual Handling

IMMEDIATE START AFTER WALKROUND WITH CLIENT
Initial Registration with MET and then a site interview & walk round with Client
