"Want to join our team as a pert-time Class 1 Night Driver?"
We're looking for someone who can commute to Tamworth, who is available to work Friday and Sunday nights each week for ongoing long-term driving work.
Shift pattern:
- Part-time ongoing
- 2 nights per week between (Friday and Sunday)
- Start times ranging between 21.00 pm - 01.00 am
Salary:
- 19.75 plus holiday pay accrued at a rate of 12.07%

Our client sits in the heart of the automotive aftermarket, supplying an unravelled range of vehicle parts to over 18,000 customers through a world class logistics operation in the UK and Ireland.
As a part time Kenect Recruitment Class 1 Driver, you'll be passionate about high-quality customer service for our valued client and their customers.
Typical responsibilities shall include:
- Delivery of automotive parts and products
- Delivering to stores, retail outlets and distribution centres
- Typically 3-4 deliveries per shift
- Rolling cages on and off the trailer including some heavy items such as car engines
- Optional nights out available with allowance paid
- As a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the stores
- Full training / buddy scheme provided
So that's all the good stuff. What about the essentials?:
- Must be looking for part time only - Friday and Sunday nights
- Must have held a valid UK LGV1 licence for a minimum of 6 months
- Must have no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
- Must be willing to attend an unpaid assessment prior to starting
- Must be willing to attend a paid site induction prior to starting
- Must be willing to undergo and drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to commute to Tamworth
