Compliance Administrator

Staffline is recruiting for a Compliance Administrator, working for one of our most prestigious clients based in Tamworth.

PAYE rate is - £12.82 - £13.33 per hour working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours paid a weekly.

Shift times are 06:00-14:00 however, flexibility to work additional shifts, where necessary to meet the business needs is essential.

Your Time at Work
The role of Compliance controller has a lot of responsibilities towards compliance, and protection of the CPC holder on site. Each site is a location on an O License, and under the legislation must have a CPC (Certificate of Professional Compliance) holder on site. This person is formally responsible, for the site to comply with Transport Legislation. Given the amount of work and attention to detail, it requires a compliance controller to help the CPC holder maintain this compliance.

The operation requires these trailers to be in a pool, and can be located at anyone of the locations. This adds to the complication of controlling the trailer, as each trailer must be assigned to an operation location. The location will then be responsible to ensure the trailer is inspected on time, and defects are controlled. This requires constant communication between the controllers, to exchange information and documents.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent communication/Admin skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work individually under your own initiative
- Self-motivated and take ownership of processes and responsibility for own workload which will be set by the Compliance Manager
- A focused and flexible approach to work, this will also include an expectation of arriving on site with enough time to support your peers to collate the shift build and provide a shift handover after shift end
