A well respected and established supply chain and distribution business (one of the fastest growing transport companies in the UK) has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trainee Customer Account Manager who is looking to kick-start their career or take that next important step up the career ladder. You will join an expanding, dynamic business in the Tamworth region that will develop and support your career aspirations within logistics. The position is Mon to Fri, 7am to 5pm. Whilst based in Tamworth, flexibility is required to be present at the customer's site in Aston, Birmingham 1-2 days per week. The role would suit a coachable and career-oriented individual who is passionate about logistics, highly customer centric and is looking to develop into more senior opportunities as they development within the business.

You will engage with personnel at all levels of the business, building professional relationships as well as identifying areas for continuous improvement. A major part of your remit will be to act as the customer liaison point of contact. As you will be based within the customer's offices, you will interface with the customer on a daily basis. It is essential therefore that you are confident, highly professional, possess superb communication skills and can develop and maintain positive relationships. Client engagement skills and a pro-active, "can-do" attitude as well as a willingness to do what it takes to deliver will be required. You will be driven by customer excellence and enjoy going above and beyond to achieve results. Some experience within the logistics and transport sector would be an advantage but it is your attitude, work ethic and desire to progress your career that are the overriding qualities that the client is looking for.
