About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students through a well-planned curriculum that covers both human and physical geography
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the Humanities team
  • Encourage geographical enquiry, independent learning, and a global outlook
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and a positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (applications from those working towards QTLS also considered)
  • Has a strong academic background and enthusiasm for Geography
  • Is committed to raising student attainment and fostering a love for the subject
  • Works well collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills
