Contract Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: £140.96 to £218.53 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school located in Tamworth, which is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their successful Science faculty.
This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals.

About the Role:
- Teach engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics content in an accessible and inspiring way
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities within the Science department
- Support students of all abilities to make strong progress and develop a love for Science
- Maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (applications from those working towards QTLS also considered)
- Has a genuine passion for Science and teaching
- Is committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality learning experiences
- Collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to a positive team culture
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, communication, and planning skills

Additional Information:
- Pay will be based on MPS/UPS depending on experience

- A minimum of two education-based references is required
